Then i tested the connectivity inside the ESXI and created a WIN7 test machine and assigned the interface to the vswitch tagged with ID 20 and i could obtain IP successfullyįirst of all, I would have to say I don't like this design. I even installed wireshark on the domain and filtered dhcp broadcast packets and the broadcast dont even get to the DC The problem is when i connect a device to any of ports on vlan 20 or 30 One of them to connect the ESXI host on at so it would be able to see the 3 vlansĪnd the second port for managing the switch, ESXI and firewall (installed later on ESXI)Īnd set the speed for the trunk port and matched it with vmnic speed on the ESXI Hostġ - firewall with 4 vmnet cards - each on one of the vswitchs (vmnet will be gateway for the vlans)Ģ - DC with vmnet on vswitch tagged with 20 - DC will be in vlan 20 So i created he 3 vlans on the cisco switch and made ports for the vlans in access mode So i though i would yuse ESXI 6 on the the server and create 3 vlans on the cisco swith ![]() I need to create loadbalance on the wan links and create two vlans ![]() ![]() Now let me tell you what i want to achieve This is my first thread here and i wish if i can find the solution iam looking for hereĪt first let me tell you what i have then i will tell you what i need finally i will tell you my issue
